Movie4me: Hollywood, Bollywood, South and regional movies and web series, from Dhurandhar to Carry On Jatta

Movie4me became one of the best-known movie names in India by putting everything on one page: Hollywood hits, Bollywood new releases and evergreen classics, South Indian blockbusters, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati films, the big movie series and the web series everyone was talking about. The site keeps the colourful look of its last archived design, measured from its own style sheet: a deep plum header, a navy band crowded with white category buttons, plum section bars and rounded poster cards with the title written above each image. Every title now opens on the official services that carry it, through one Watch now button.

This guide explains how Movie4me works and what waits on each shelf. The first part tours the page: the header, the category band, the search box, the sections, the cards, the Top Trending box and the title pages. The second part walks the shelves: Hollywood, Bollywood new and evergreen, the four great South Indian industries, the regional cinemas of Punjab, Bengal, Maharashtra and Gujarat, the Marvel, DC and James Bond series and the web series. The third part is practical: Hindi audio, services in India and abroad, free and legal viewing, devices, the official address and staying safe. For the short version, read how to watch on Movie4me.

The plum header

The page opens with a deep plum bar, the colour Movie4me used for its header, its section titles and its footer. On the left sits the logo: a white clapperboard with a green striped top and a plum play button, then the name Movie4me in bold white letters with a golden 4 in the middle.

On phones, a button with three white lines appears on the right of the bar. It opens a panel with the search box and the main menu: Home, Hollywood, Bollywood, South Hindi Dubbed, Web Series, Movie Series, A-Z, My List and Help.

The band of category buttons

Under the plum bar runs the feature Movie4me visitors remember best: a navy band packed with small white buttons, one for every category. The original had dozens of them, from Hollywood Hindi Dual Audio to Bollywood Evergreen, South Hindi Dubbed, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati, Marvel, DC and James Bond series, web series and every genre. The rebuilt band keeps the idea and the look: white rounded buttons with bold black text, wrapping across as many lines as the screen needs.

The first buttons follow the main menu. Then come the shelves: Hollywood Latest, Bollywood Evergreen, Tamil-Telugu, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati Movies, the Marvel, DC and James Bond Movies Series, Hindi Web Series, English TV Series, and the genre shelves for Action, Comedy, Drama, Thriller and Romance. The page you are on turns green. It is the fastest way to jump anywhere on the site in a single click.

The notice strip and the title badge

Below the band, a soft pink notice strip with dark red text holds quick links to the most visited shelves: Hollywood, Bollywood, South Hindi Dubbed, Web Series, Movie Series and My List. The original used this strip to list its addresses and the day's date; here it points straight to the shelves.

Under the strip, the page title sits in a plum badge with white bold text, centred on the page, exactly as the original styled its headings. A short paragraph explains what Movie4me offers.

The home page sections

The home page follows the order of the original. Each section opens with a plum bar and a centred white heading: Hollywood Latest Movies, Bollywood Hindi Latest Movies, South Hindi Dubbed Latest Movies, Other Latest Movies, Latest Web Series and Bollywood Evergreen Movies. Each holds twelve cards and ends with a navy More button that opens the full shelf.

Other Latest Movies is where the regional cinemas meet: three Punjabi films, three Bengali, three Marathi and three Gujarati, side by side. It is a small tour of India's film cultures in one row, and a good place to find something new.

The poster cards

Every card follows the original design. The title and year come first, in bold blue letters, above the poster, just as Movie4me always wrote its titles above the image. The poster sits inside a white card with rounded corners and a soft double shadow, and a line underneath shows the score and the first two genres. Web series also show the number of seasons beside their year.

The cards are centred in each section. On a computer, five or six sit side by side; on a phone, two sit per row, as the original's phone layout did. Pointing at a card deepens its shadow with a plum tint.

Shelves, help and tags

The next section lists every shelf as a navy button with its title count, from Hollywood Movies to Romance. The help section follows, with a card for each guide, and then this article. The page closes with the green tag block the original was known for, rebuilt as a neat list of shelf links in white, and a plum footer with the main links separated by thin bars.

The title page

Each title has its own page, with the poster, the backdrop, the story, the year, the runtime or seasons, the score, the genres, the cast and the director or creators. Series pages list every season with its episodes and air dates. Two buttons sit near the top: Watch now, which opens the viewing panel, and Add to My List, which saves the title on the My List page.

The Watch now button

Press Watch now and a panel opens with a list of countries. Choose yours and the title opens on JustWatch, the guide that lists every subscription, rental, purchase and free service carrying it in that country, with a direct link to each one. The film then plays in the service's own app or website, in the best quality the service offers. Movie4me remembers your country for the next time.

Choosing your country

India comes first in the list, followed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa and Germany, the places where Movie4me's visitors live and where Indian films are watched most.

Catalogues differ from country to country. A Telugu hit on one service in Hyderabad may sit on another in Dubai or London, and the country list shows exactly what is available wherever you are.

Hollywood on Movie4me

Hollywood Hindi Dual Audio was the first button in the original menu, and Hollywood still opens the home page. In India, most services offer the big Hollywood films with Hindi audio as well as English, and many also offer Tamil and Telugu tracks. The Hollywood Movies shelf holds every English-language film on the site, and the Hollywood guide gives a quick tour.

Hollywood Latest

Project Hail Mary leads the new releases: a science teacher wakes up alone on a spacecraft with a mission to save Earth, and finds an unlikely friend among the stars. The Odyssey brings Homer's great voyage home from Troy to the screen on a vast scale. Avatar: Fire and Ash returns to Pandora with the Sully family, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day gives Peter Parker a fresh start in New York.

Families can choose Toy Story 5, Zootopia 2, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie or Minions & Monsters. The Mandalorian and Grogu brings the bounty hunter and his small companion to the cinema, and Supergirl follows Kara Zor-El on a cosmic adventure.

Thrills and spectacle

Disclosure Day follows a whistleblower who uncovers a secret about life beyond Earth, and War of the Worlds tells the invasion story through the screens of a surveillance analyst. The End of Oak Street lifts a whole suburban street into the unknown, and Backrooms turns an ordinary basement into a maze. Evil Dead Burn and The Conjuring are for horror fans, and Scary Movie is for anyone who likes to laugh at the scares.

Hollywood favourites in India

Some Hollywood films are as loved in India as any Bollywood hit. Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War broke records in Indian cinemas. Interstellar and Inception are watched again and again for their ideas and their music. The Dark Knight and Joker are two of the most admired superhero stories, and Spider-Man: No Way Home brought three generations of Spider-Man together.

Avatar remains one of the biggest films ever released in India, and Dune, Blade Runner 2049 and Mad Max: Fury Road are made for the biggest screen you have. The Imitation Game tells the true story of the codebreaker Alan Turing, and Alien: Covenant takes a colony ship to a dangerous planet.

Animation for the family

Coco follows a young musician into the colourful Land of the Dead, Inside Out turns a girl's feelings into characters, and Despicable Me introduced Gru and his Minions. The Wild Robot tells the gentle story of a robot raising a gosling on a wild island, and Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender brings the much-loved airbender back in a new animated film. Most of these are offered in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, which makes them easy family choices.

The movie series

The original Movie4me had its own buttons for Marvel Movies Series, DC Movies Series and James Bond Movies Series, and so does the rebuilt band. Each shelf gathers one franchise, so you can watch the films in order. The movie series guide gives the order at a glance.

Marvel

The Marvel shelf gathers the Avengers films and their friends. Start with Iron Man 2 to meet Tony Stark, Black Widow and War Machine, then The Avengers, where the team first comes together to defend New York. Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame close the great Infinity Saga across two epic films, and Deadpool & Wolverine brings two of Marvel's wildest heroes together with plenty of jokes.

DC

The DC shelf runs from Man of Steel, which tells Superman's origin, through Wonder Woman, who leaves her island home to fight in the First World War, and Aquaman, who claims the throne of Atlantis. The Dark Knight and The Batman show two very different Gothams, and Joker tells the story of Batman's most famous enemy. Supergirl opens the newest chapter.

James Bond

The James Bond shelf gathers the five films of Daniel Craig. Casino Royale shows Bond earning his licence to kill and meeting Vesper Lynd over a high-stakes card game. Quantum of Solace follows him in search of revenge. Skyfall brings him home to London and to Scotland to protect M. Spectre uncovers the organization behind all his enemies, and No Time to Die closes the story in style.

Watched in order, the five films tell one complete story, a rare thing in the long history of Bond. They make a great five-evening project.

Hollywood in Hindi

Hindi audio makes Hollywood films easy to share with the whole family. Most services in India list the languages on each title page, often Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English. Open the audio menu in the player and switch as you like, and add English subtitles if you want to catch every word of the original.

Bollywood on Movie4me

Bollywood has two buttons on Movie4me, as it had on the original: Bollywood Movies for the films of recent years and Bollywood Evergreen for the classics. Together they cover three decades of Hindi cinema, from the romances of the nineties to the action spectacles of today. The Bollywood guide gives a short tour, and the Bollywood Movies shelf holds the full list.

Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge

Dhurandhar was one of the biggest Hindi action hits of recent years, a tense spy story with a huge cast led by Ranveer Singh. Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues the story with even bigger action. Watch them back to back for a full evening of thrills.

Saiyaara and new romance

Saiyaara became a surprise sensation: a young musician and a gentle writer fall in love, and their story, with its soaring songs, moved audiences across the country. Tu Yaa Main adds a fresh romantic thriller to the new releases.

New Bollywood releases

War 2 continues the spy universe that began with War, with Hrithik Roshan back as the agent Kabir. War 2 extends it further. Watched in release order, they form one big, colourful adventure.

Bollywood Evergreen

The Bollywood Evergreen shelf gathers the Hindi classics of 1994 to 2012, the films that families still watch together on holidays. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is the most famous of all: Raj and Simran fall in love on a trip across Europe, and their story ran in one Mumbai cinema for more than twenty-five years.

Family dramas

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham are the great family romances of their time, full of songs, tears and laughter. Aamir Khan

3 Idiots is one of the most loved Hindi comedies ever made: three engineering students learn about friendship and following their passion. Like Stars on Earth follows a boy with dyslexia and the teacher who understands him, and Ghajini is a gripping revenge thriller. Each of them holds a special place in the hearts of Indian audiences.

Hrithik Roshan and friends

Koi... Mil Gaya and Krrish are Hindi cinema's own science-fiction and superhero stories, loved by children of the two-thousands. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara follows three friends on a road trip through Spain, and Dhoom 2 is a slick heist full of motorbikes and music. Monsoon Wedding is a warm, colourful story about a big Punjabi wedding in Delhi, and Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 is an epic crime saga.

South Hindi Dubbed

South Hindi Dubbed was one of the busiest shelves on the original Movie4me, and the films of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam cinema are more popular across India today than ever. Most of them are offered in Hindi as well as their original language. The South Hindi Dubbed shelf gathers them all, the Tamil-Telugu button narrows the list, and the South guide gives a short tour.

Telugu blockbusters

RRR follows two revolutionaries in the 1920s whose friendship becomes the heart of a thunderous adventure; its song Naatu Naatu won an Academy Award. Bāhubali 2: The Conclusion completes the epic of the warrior prince and answers the question that kept India talking for two years. Kantara became a phenomenon with its story of a village, a forest and a divine spirit, and Kantara - A Legend: Chapter 1 goes back centuries to tell the legend behind it.

777 Charlie is a moving story about a lonely man and a playful Labrador who changes his life, and it is a favourite with families. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side A is a tender love story, and Mahavatar Narsimha is a spectacular animated retelling of a Vishnu legend.

Malayalam cinema

Malayalam films are admired across India for their writing and their realism. Manjummel Boys follows a group of friends who try to rescue one of their own from a deep cave, based on a true story. Aavesham is a riotous comedy about three college students and an eccentric gangster, and Drishyam 2 continues the story of a man protecting his family from the past.

Lucifer is a political thriller starring Mohanlal, Marco is a fierce action film, and All We Imagine as Light is a gentle story of two nurses in Mumbai that won the Grand Prix at Cannes.

Watching South films in Hindi

South films on services in India usually list Hindi among their audio languages. Some services offer separate Hindi versions as their own titles, so search for the Hindi title too if you see only the original. Many films also carry English subtitles, which let you enjoy the original voices, and some viewers like to watch the film first in Hindi and again in the original.

Regional cinema

The original Movie4me had its own buttons for Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati movies, and the rebuilt band keeps all four. Each shelf gathers twenty or so films, chosen from the most loved of the last decade and a few classics. The regional guide gives a short tour; here is the longer one.

Punjabi movies

Punjabi cinema is famous for its comedies, and the Punjabi shelf is full of laughter. Carry On Jatta started one of the most successful comedy series in Punjabi film, and Carry On Jatta 2 and Carry On Jatta 3 continue the chaos. Jatt & Juliet and Jatt & Juliet 2 pair Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa in two romantic comedies set partly in Canada.

Chal Mera Putt follows a group of friends working in Birmingham, and Chal Mera Putt 2 continues their adventures. Shadaa, Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne and Nikka Zaildar are full of weddings, families and music. Qismat and Lekh are romantic dramas, and Guddiyan Patole follows two sisters who discover their roots on a visit to Punjab.

Punjabi drama and history

Punjabi cinema also tells serious stories. Sajjan Singh Rangroot follows Sikh soldiers who fought for Britain in the First World War. Punjab 1984 is a moving story of a mother searching for her son. Qissa: The Tale of a Lonely Ghost is an art-house drama set after Partition, and Gelo follows a farm worker who fights for dignity. The Legend of Maula Jatt, a Pakistani epic, retells a famous Punjabi legend with spectacular fights.

Bengali movies

The Bengali shelf spans West Bengal and Bangladesh. Utshob is a warm Eid comedy in which a grumpy loner receives three mysterious visitors. Rehana Maryam Noor follows a determined assistant professor at a medical college, and Made in Bangladesh follows a young garment worker who organizes her colleagues. Television is a gentle comedy about a village leader and the arrival of modern devices.

Marathi movies

Marathi cinema is admired for its storytelling, and the Marathi shelf holds its finest. Sairat is the most successful Marathi film ever: a love story between a politician's daughter and a fisherman's son, with unforgettable songs. Court is a quietly powerful courtroom drama, and The Disciple follows a young classical singer devoted to his art.

Natsamrat features a great actor in the role of a retired Shakespearean star, Ventilator is a warm family comedy set around a hospital bed, and Ved is a romantic drama about a railway-colony cricketer. Timepass and Duniyadari are youth favourites, Fandry and Killa are acclaimed stories of childhood, and Katyar Kaljat Ghusali is a musical feast. Anandi Gopal tells the story of India's first woman doctor, and 1000 Rupee Note, Faster Fene, Muramba, Sunrise, Y, Vaalvi, Cactus Pears and It's OK complete the shelf.

Gujarati movies

Gujarati cinema has grown quickly in recent years, and the Gujarati shelf shows why. Chhello Divas is the college comedy that started the new wave of Gujarati films. Hellaro is a striking film about village women who find freedom in the garba dance, and Last Film Show, India's Academy Award entry, follows a village boy who falls in love with cinema.

Vash and Vash Level 2 are chilling supernatural thrillers, Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahaayate became a surprise hit about a rickshaw driver's spiritual journey, and Kevi Rite Jaish is a satire about a family's dream of moving to America. Gujjubhai The Great, Fakt Mahilao Maate, Faati Ne?, Naadi Dosh, Hurry Om Hurry and Dhh are full of comedy, and Wrong Side Raju, Reva, Love Ni Bhavai, Lakiro, Hello, Trisha on the Rocks and Seva Bhavi add drama and romance.

Where regional films stream

Regional films often sit on specialist services as well as the big ones. Chaupal carries many Punjabi films, Hoichoi and Chorki carry Bengali films from Kolkata and Dhaka, Planet Marathi carries Marathi films and ShemarooMe carries Gujarati titles. Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5 and Netflix carry many of them too. The Watch now panel lists every option in your country.

Web series on Movie4me

The Latest Web Series section on the home page and the Web Series list gather the Hindi and English series that India binges most. Each series page lists every season and episode with its air date. The Hindi Web Series and English TV Series buttons split the list by language, and the web series guide gives a quick tour.

The Family Man

The Family Man is one of the most loved Hindi web series. Manoj Bajpayee plays Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class father who secretly works for a special intelligence cell, juggling missions with school fees and family dinners. It is funny, tense and full of heart, and each season raises the stakes.

Panchayat

Panchayat follows Abhishek, an engineering graduate who takes a job as secretary of a village council in Uttar Pradesh while he prepares for a better career. Slowly, the village and its people win him over. It is gentle, very funny and full of real life, and it has become one of India's favourite comfort series.

Farzi and friends

Farzi follows a gifted artist who turns his talent to printing perfect counterfeit notes, chased by a determined task-force officer. Special Ops follows an intelligence officer and his team over nineteen years of hunting one mastermind, and Taskaree: The Smuggler's Web follows customs officers against a smuggling network. The Ba***ds of Bollywood is a lively, affectionate satire of the Hindi film industry.

Crime series

Delhi Crime follows the Delhi police through difficult investigations with great care and realism, and it won an International Emmy. Paatal Lok follows a weary police inspector whose case pulls him into the hidden underworld of the city. Both are gripping, thoughtful and beautifully acted.

Music and youth

Bandish Bandits is a love story between a young classical singer and a pop star, full of beautiful music. Hostel Daze is a comedy about engineering students and their hostel life, and it will bring back memories for anyone who studied away from home.

English series

The English series on Movie4me are the ones India binges most. Stranger Things mixes eighties adventure and supernatural mystery in a small American town. House of the Dragon follows House Targaryen and its dragons two centuries before the story fans know. Peaky Blinders follows the Shelby family in post-war Birmingham, and Vikings follows Ragnar Lothbrok from farmer to king.

Better Call Saul tells the story of a small-time lawyer who becomes Saul Goodman, and Suits follows a brilliant college dropout who talks his way into a top law firm. Black Mirror tells a new story about technology in almost every episode, Westworld explores a theme park staffed by lifelike robots, and FROM traps its visitors in a small town where creatures roam after dark.

Heroes, doctors and detectives

The Flash and Arrow built a television universe of DC heroes over many seasons. Lucifer brings the devil to Los Angeles as a nightclub owner who helps the police solve crimes. The Good Doctor follows a young surgeon with autism at a San Jose hospital, and Scorpion follows a team of brilliant misfits who solve global crises. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a joyful police comedy, and The Walking Dead follows a band of survivors across eleven seasons.

Planning a binge

A little planning makes a long series easy. Check the number of seasons written under the card, pick two or three episodes an evening, and add the series to My List so it waits at the top. A Hindi series with eight episodes a season fits into a weekend; a long English series is a project for a few months.

Anthology series such as Black Mirror can be started anywhere. Serial stories such as The Family Man and Panchayat are best from the first episode, because small details from the early episodes come back later.

Services in India

In India, JioHotstar carries Disney, Marvel and many Hollywood films as well as a large library of Hindi and South titles. Prime Video and Netflix carry a wide mix of Bollywood, South, Hollywood and web series, ZEE5 and SonyLIV carry Hindi films and series, and Sun NXT and Aha specialize in South Indian films. The streaming services guide lists them all, including the regional services.

Watching from abroad

Millions of people watch Indian films far from India, in the Gulf, in Britain, in North America and across Asia. Netflix and Prime Video carry many Indian films worldwide, and services such as ZEE5, SonyLIV and Hoichoi offer international plans. Choose your country in the Watch now panel to see exactly what is available where you live.

Renting and buying

New releases often arrive first to rent or buy on Prime Video, Apple TV, Google TV and YouTube Movies, and then join a subscription service a few weeks later. Renting gives you a few days to watch a film once you start; buying keeps it in your library for good. The Watch now panel shows prices side by side with subscription options.

Free and legal viewing

Plenty of films are free and legal to watch with a few adverts. In India, JioHotstar, ZEE5 and MX Player carry many free titles, and YouTube has a large collection of free Hindi, South and regional films uploaded by the studios themselves. In the United States, Tubi, Pluto TV and Plex carry thousands of films. The free movies guide has the details.

Quality and data

The original Movie4me was known for listing its films by size, from small 300MB files to large high-definition ones, because mobile data was precious. Today the official services handle this for you: most apps let you choose a data saver, a standard and a high-quality setting, and many let you download titles on Wi-Fi to watch later at no extra data cost. Choose the data saver on a mobile plan and the best quality on home broadband.

Phones, computers and televisions

Movie4me works in any modern browser. On a phone, the cards sit two to a row and the menu folds into a button; on a computer, the band of category buttons opens every shelf in one click. Add Movie4me to your home screen for one-tap access. The devices guide explains how to move from Movie4me to the service's app on your television, streaming stick or phone.

My List

My List keeps the titles you want to watch in one place. Press Add to My List on any title page and the title joins the My List page. The list lives in your browser and works right away, from the first title you add. To use it on another device, export it as one small file and import it there.

More ways to find titles

The search box, the category band and the home page sections cover most needs. The A-Z page lists every title alphabetically, and the Movie Series page lists every shelf with its title count. The genre shelves for Action, Comedy, Drama, Thriller and Romance mix films and series from every language. The finding titles guide sums it up.

Genres across languages

The genre shelves are a good way to discover films from other languages. The Action shelf puts K.G.F: Chapter 2 beside Mad Max: Fury Road and Pathaan. The Comedy shelf puts Carry On Jatta beside 3 Idiots and Aavesham. The Romance shelf puts Sairat beside Sita Ramam and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Try a film from a language you rarely watch; subtitles make it easy.

The official Movie4me

Movie4me has one fixed address, shown in your browser's address bar. Bookmark it or add it to your home screen, and it opens with your country and My List in place. The official site guide describes the real Movie4me: a plum header with the clapperboard logo, a navy band of white buttons, plum section bars and rounded cards with the title above each poster. The site status page explains a few quick checks if a page is slow.

Staying safe

Safe streaming is simple. Use official apps and websites, keep your phone and browser updated, use a strong password and two-step sign-in on your streaming accounts, and close any pop-up that asks you to install something. Movie4me has one button per title and sends you only to JustWatch and official services. The safety checklist has a few more tips.

How titles are chosen

Movie4me's catalogue follows the spirit of the original site: Hollywood, Bollywood new and evergreen, South Indian hits, regional cinema, the big movie series and web series. Every title is chosen by hand from TMDB's lists of popular and highly rated films and series, and each one is checked to suit a general audience. Daily soaps and adult titles are left to other places, so every shelf suits a family evening or a night with friends.

Where the information comes from

Titles, posters, stories, cast, runtimes, seasons, episodes and scores come from TMDB, The Movie Database, through its official interface. Scores are out of ten and come from TMDB's worldwide community of film fans. The Watch now panel links to JustWatch, which tracks the services in each country. This guide and the help pages are written for Movie4me, an independent site with its own writing, and the look is rebuilt from the archived design of the original. The About page says more.

Festival favourites

Indian families love to watch films together on festival days, and Movie4me has a film for each of them. For Diwali, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Om Shanti Om bring the glitter and the songs. For Eid, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger 3 carry on a long tradition of Salman Khan holiday releases, and the Bengali comedy Utshob is set on the eve of Eid itself. For Navratri, Hellaro fills the screen with garba, and for a Punjabi wedding season, Carry On Jatta and Shadaa are pure fun.

For Independence Day, try Amaran, Sajjan Singh Rangroot or The Ghazi Attack, three films about courage in uniform, or RRR, a rousing tale of two freedom fighters.

Here is one way to enjoy a week of films from every corner of India. On Monday, start with a Bollywood favourite such as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. On Tuesday, try a Malayalam gem such as Kumbalangi Nights. On Wednesday, pick a Marathi classic such as Sairat, and on Thursday a Gujarati comedy such as Chhello Divas. On Friday, watch the newest Hollywood release in Hindi. On Saturday, invite friends for K.G.F: Chapter 1 and K.G.F: Chapter 2 back to back, and on Sunday relax with two episodes of Panchayat.

Worth watching again

Some films reward a second viewing even more than the first. Maharaja plays differently once you know its famous twist, and Drishyam 2 invites you to watch every clue again. Inception reveals new layers once you know where each dream ends. 3 Idiots and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge feel like old friends on every visit, and Bāhubali 2: The Conclusion is even more thrilling when you know every twist of the first film's story.

New to Indian cinema?

Friends from other countries often ask where to start with Indian films. A good first choice is a film with a simple, universal story and great music: 3 Idiots for comedy and friendship, RRR for spectacle, 12th Fail for inspiration, or Sita Ramam for romance. Songs are part of the storytelling in most Indian films, so enjoy them as you would a musical. Subtitles in English are available for almost every film on the official services, and the Watch now panel shows where each one plays in your country.
